About Us
My origins come from my mother’s side, from Paros. My great-grandmother Christina, whose name I inherited, came from the village of Lefkes on Paros. She was the one who helped my mother buy this piece of land on Antiparos. And so the story began…
Our Story
The first time I visited Antiparos I was only two years old, reaching this piece of land by donkey along a dirt road.
Since then I have returned to the island many times. I love the air and the whole atmosphere of the island — I simply feel part of it. In the past we were often given the chance to invest in Antiparos, but never quite made up our minds.
Finally, after so many efforts, a dream came true! My mother and I developed Gea and Hydor residences in 2024, in Agios Georgios, Antiparos.
Our Mission
Our mission is to offer our γη = gea and ύδωρ = hydor to our guests. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional service, ensuring every detail of your stay is perfect — from the moment you book with us until the time you check out.
GEA and HYDOR Residences
What about it? How did we come up with this name? What is its story?
The very first time you visit Ai Giorgis, as you enter the residential area, just stop and watch. What do you see? A magnificent, tranquil and endless sea view (ύδωρ = hydor) and a sunny, “earthy” landscape (γη = gea). This view magnetises you and holds you forever!
Our intention is to offer this view, inside and outside the residences, to our guests. The whole architectural idea — by an award-winning architect — is captured and implemented through these two elements: γη και ύδωρ.
In ancient Greek history, the Persians asked those they wished to surrender to give them “γη και ύδωρ”. We are here to serve our guests and offer them our “γη και ύδωρ” — a peaceful, private vacation away from problems. And to anyone who asks for it as the Persians once did, our answer is the same the Athenians and Spartans gave at Marathon and Thermopylae: “Μολών Λαβέ”.
